That's good, even if it may not succeed. I don't think anyone thinks the root causes for the conflict are easy to fix (Kashmir situation is now almost 100 years old after all ...) but there may still be other agreements that can be reached to defuse the situation. This was also said in street interviews by common people, who were a) glad that the war did not escalate, and b) some of whom also said the root cause of the conflict needs to be resolved via dialogue. Perhaps the common people in Pakistan realise that they need to put more pressure onto the military, as the military attempts to disobey civilian rule (see the coup in Myanmar to see what can happen if the military is not controlled by the people; they overthrew the little democracy that the people in Myanmar had left, leading to an uprising that is still going on).

It is a good move for MPs to represent their people internationally. It also increases our projection of power. You see US Senators and Representatives doing this all the time. It also forces MPs into being responsible when more eyes are on you. This is an extremely good sign that India is asserting her role as global power.

Yes there are indeed many similarities between India and Turkey , but i think the major reason behind the difference in Turkey's approch towards its foreign policy actions and military interventions is the Realisation about its usefulness and importance to the USA , Majorly it's Strategic locations .

Look at Pakistan , They blatantly used Terrorism against India , because this is literally what they did for americans against Afganistan and USSR 
they punched above their weight in 
Many different actions they took , And America shamelessly ignored everything because of Dependence of America on Pakistan for the grand American geopolitical designs .
Pak was able to take decisions because they knew America will be forced to bail them out and save them .

The same way turkey realises it's importance and America's dependence on it .That's why they take decisions which appears to be bold and strong .

What they are actually trying to do is using this dependence trying to squeeze more and more out of the west. I think  Turkey will be met with the same fate as Pakistan 

Because countries like turkey and Pakistan hate the Americans from the outside but desperately want America to keep using them because this gives them a borrowed power . because once the dependence is gone. Their value goes down along with their ability to take bold decision.

For eg look what happened when America decided to leave Afghanistan . Look what happened to Pakistan

And that is true, but it’s far from actually solving any problem, if India and Pakistan just continued its diplomatic discussions , debates,UN meetings, negotiations by mediators,etc.It will do nothing but just be a paper warning and Pakistan will never understand or come to realize about how exactly this affects others(i.e India).
